The event was attended by Melis Murataliev, Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Deputy Head of the Kemin District State Administration Asel Dzhumanalieva, heads of district structural departments, and leaders of local self-government bodies.
During the meeting, Chairman Melis Murataliev noted that the legal framework of the Law on the State Language has been strengthened and finalized, and that current efforts should focus not only on protecting the language but also on supporting and widely promoting its use in everyday life. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing the role of the state language in society, ensuring high-quality official documentation, preparing information materials, and providing public services in the state language.
The meeting also discussed ongoing work on the implementation of language policy, documentation practices within state bodies, and the use of the state language in communication with the public. Participants shared proposals and opinions, and specific tasks were assigned in relevant areas.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that the development of the state language is a shared responsibility of every public servant and civil society, and that systematic efforts in this direction must continue on a regular basis.
