With the arrival of the spring and summer season, residents and visitors increasingly go to the mountains and forests for recreation. However, since the beginning of spring 2025, the number of forest fire incidents has increased. Over the past two months, six fire incidents have been recorded in mountainous areas.
Dear residents and visitors!
We kindly ask you to strictly observe fire safety regulations.
During the fire hazard season, the following actions are prohibited in forests:
- Throwing away unextinguished matches or cigarette butts;
- Using flammable materials during hunting;
- Leaving cloths soaked with gasoline or oil in the forest;
- Refueling a vehicle while the engine is running;
- Leaving glass or bottle fragments;
- Making fires in areas with dry grass;
- Burning grass under trees, in fields, or in forests.
Please remember:
Fire is a destructive force!
Prevention is the most important measure!
